Please help for the 3rd time now I have found a bottle of unrine in my sons room he is 16

I really had a go because it's awful he just keeps saying he can't be arsed to go up stairs

I know he's 16 but I think I will be removing his computer time and blocking him off the internet

Has this happened to anyone else how can I get him to stop

Gross. Remind me to be careful next time he takes apple juice to his room as it might not be what he expects. My ex knows all about that!

This means he clearly isn't washing his hands after which is absolutely disgusting and not something i would allow to go on in my home.
You wash your damn hands after urinating/defecating, it's not fair to other people that everything you touch after gets covered in your toilet germs when they have to touch it too, in and outside the home.

I honestly couldn't get that worked up about this. Yes it's gross, yes i'd be making that perfectly clear along with making damn sure they dealt with the pissy bottle themselves.

But yeah, pick your battles. Removing phone and wifi is massive overkill.

I suspect the amount of manual handling required to piss in a bottle relative to the amount of manual handling the average 16 year old is getting up to in the privacy of their bedroom is really not worth getting worked up about. Or buy them some hand sanitiser.

Teenage sons bedrooms are not a place to tread lightly. I simply wouldn't go in there, and wait for him one day to be enlightened. One day he will realise he's living in a disgusting mess and do something about it. There is no real harm done
