Doctors surgery

My doctors surgery no longer gives appointments out for contraception related appointments. Instead you have to turn up at 9.30 on a Thursday morning and basically hope for the best.

9.20 on the dot I'm in the waiting room. I'm still sitting waiting at 11.45. I've just been seen and I have to wait until everyone else has been in until I can get the bloody implant fitted.

So glad I took the full days annual leave instead of a half, but its basically a day wasted. Utterly pissed off Angry. Roll on invention of man pill!!!!

That is beyond rubbish. I would complain, it's not a workable system.

That is awful and I'd wander if it's not even discriminatory and it unfairly disadvantages female patients.

Do you have a sexual health clinic in your area? I go to one instead of my GP because I can get appointments to suit.

Yep, try a family planning clinic. They're usually open in the evenings, at least some of the time. I've never been to a GP for contraception.
