To eat out of date sausages?

Toomuchbooty · 02/11/2016 16:13

I bought some sausages only a couple of days ago, gone to cook them for tea tonight but they went out of date yesterday!

They have been in the fridge since been bought

Normally I would just not bother but for the sake of a day surely they can't have gone bad at precisely midnight last night?

So do you think they're safe to feed to my oh and ds?

For the first time I am tempted to just disregard it for the sake of a day as I just cannot believe they could have gone bad in the last few hours! Hmm

It's a day; they'll be fine.

If they smell and look ok they will be grand.

Idratherbeaunicorn · 02/11/2016 16:17

Unless they've got a tinge and a whiff, I wouldnt worry!

ItsJustNotRight · 02/11/2016 16:41

If they're not green and smell OK they will be fine.

Paulat2112 · 02/11/2016 16:42

A day will still be fine :)

It's fine, you're right food doesn't spontaneously combust at the stroke of midnight :)

I´ve just eaten some bacon that went out of date yesterday. So far I am still alive.

I eat out of date stuff all the time. If it looks and smells ok, it's ok.
