People who let their dogs poop on the pavement, grass etc. and dont clean it up.

People who walk in the middle of the path very very slowly and dont leave you room to get past so you have to drag along or walk in the road.

The stupid parents who park on the zigzag lines outside the school, same ones everyday, god forbid little johnney should have to walk more then 10 steps.

Mothers who stop to gossip in the middle of the sumermarket alse or street blocking everyone with their prams and buggies.

People who leave their shopping trollies in the middle of the alse and wonder around the shop, to retern with an arm full of shopping put it in the trolly and go off again.

Kids on heelies.

Young people who dont give up their seat for elderly people on buses.

People who talk through the whole film in the cinama, (if you want to talk go for a meal instead.)

People who tell you the ending of the book you are only half way through.

Shop staff to busy chatting to each other to serve you.

People who put their feet on seats, or their bags, shopping ect.

Or am i just becoming my mother, if so please shoot me now!

OK - my list (in addition to Kimi's)

  • middle lane drivers (FGS MOVE!)
  • mariah carey - now I know she's not an action but just being alive is annoying enough
  • doctor's receptionists demanding to know what is wrong with me before they give me an appointment (when you're an MD love I'll tell you)
  • wonderpets
  • skinny people moaning about their 'enormous stomachs etc' give me a break...

Oh I am a miserable arse this morning!

kimi · 12/02/2007 09:04

No, I disagree - the wonderpets are fab and love them (and they are on right now ). And Mariah is also wondeful (because she's clearly mental and thinks she can dance). But middle lane drivers are a nightmare, and so are doctor's receptionists 'is it an emergency?' - no coz then I'd go to f-ing A & E, wouldn't I, you stupid cow!!???

Now sing this together, Baby penguin, we are coming to sa-ve you, the wind is blow-ing, it's blowing ha-rd, this is serious....Linni, Tuck and Ming Ming too, we're wonderpets and we'll save you.... (thought you'd appreciate that!!!!)

kimi · 12/02/2007 10:29

ive never seen wonderpets.

It's on Nick Jr for pre-schoolers. My 16mth DS loves it, and so do I! (but it is quite irritating I suppose for some people but not me).

danceswithnewboots · 12/02/2007 14:49

OOh, girls I want you to be proud of me. I was in Next this morning and the two blokes behind the counter carried on talking while they were serving me until eventually I said 'you know, it is rude to keep talking while you are supposed to be serving a customer' - they looked so surprised and the bloke serving me said 'sorry madam' straight away to which I said 'fine, but it really is annoying'
HA! Cheeky b*ggers.

NO IT'S DIGUSTING -especially the ones who let the pooch poop in the MIDDLE of the pavement then just walk away!!!

People who walk in the middle of the path very very slowly and dont leave you room to get past so you have to drag along or walk in the road.

  • Have trained my 3 yr old to ram his pushchairs into the backs of their legs!

The stupid parents who park on the zigzag lines outside the school, same ones everyday, god forbid little johnney should have to walk more then 10 steps.
Have taken down various number plates and reported them to the police. It is after all an offence to stop on the zig zags.

Mothers who stop to gossip in the middle of the sumermarket alse or street blocking everyone with their prams and buggies.
Sorry guilty of this one myself!!

People who leave their shopping trollies in the middle of the alse and wonder around the shop, to retern with an arm full of shopping put it in the trolly and go off again.
Maybe its their only form of exercise!

Kids on heelies.
saw one little kid go ar$e over t*t in a pair - poetic justice since the little shit had been terrorising the grannies in the supermarket

Young people who dont give up their seat for elderly people on buses. -
Annoying but what can ye do!

People who talk through the whole film in the cinama, (if you want to talk go for a meal instead.)
Very annoying - have been driven more than once to tell someone to shut it during a film

People who tell you the ending of the book you are only half way through.
Sorry guilty of this one myself

Shop staff to busy chatting to each other to serve you.
Pet hate - if you want to gossip go hide amongst the clothes rack or in the freezers - if you are at a till you should be focussed on the general public.

People who put their feet on seats, or their bags, shopping ect.
Once gave up my seat for an older person on the bus who then proceeded to put their shopping on it.!! Took the shopping back off the seat myself and sat back down!

OrmIrian · 12/02/2007 16:55

I try to rise about it all. If I allowed my inner grumpy old woman to get out I'd never get her back in again

On the subject of mums not getting out of the car at school. I confess to doing that in the mornings but I never park on the chevrons - I'm usually just late for work. DS's new best mate's mum doesn't get out of her car at school - ever! If the boys decide that they want best mate to come to our house I have to go out to the car to see his mum. Which piddles me off a little. But actually she does have a little one plus 3 other kids and I do wonder if she'd suffering from PND a little as she seems to be struggling a little atm

gingermonkey · 12/02/2007 17:10

She needs some fresh air IMO! A nice walk to and from the school would sort her out a treat!

LOL dances!
middle lane drivers are sphincters, the lot of them!!
mariah carey - here here (tho the funny dancing redeeming her is a point. the one id really do for would be that canadian one... whats she called? titanic bird, ooh, i could strangle that woman)
dr's receptionists - yes!! who dies and made them god???
wonderpets however, you are wrong about. wonderpets are BRILLIANT
skinny people and their tunnies - lol. well, comparatively speaking... (i am one of these people. (sort of anyway, am a def size 12 now and pushing next size up in some stores... not that i care!)

NorksBrideOHara · 12/02/2007 18:29

My tax burden.
The amount of time I spend doing admin for the Govt instead of earning real money.
The DVLA being unable to tell the difference between my very ancient off-road vehicle and the shiny one that I drive everyday.
Banks who are still charging over the odds for 'unauthorised' overdrafts.
Peabrained management who insist all the staff sit in offices from 8am til 6pm, thus putting a burden on public transport and their families.
Government 'focus' groups that cost millions.
Murdoch's crappy media.
Pointless celebrities.

I'll shut up now. I'm really grinding my teeth!!!

gingermonkey · 12/02/2007 19:18

Nappies - could I just say that those children on your profile page are very lovely and, if they belong to you, you should hire them out as 'adorable children to rent' and if they don't (and you just cut some pics out of a magazine) then whoever they do belong to is very lucky

Surviving the terrible twos......better hope your three year old doesn't ram you then, eh?

gingermonkey · 13/02/2007 10:49

why can't you undertake in this country? It seems very unfair (not the dead people type of undertaking, the avoiding middle lane crawlers kind!). And another thing, people that drive below the speed limit, the road near me is a 60 - national speed limit on a single carriageway and people go at 40 or 50 and then don't let you overtake. Pillocks!

lurkylou · 13/02/2007 10:57

ginger the point with middle lane crawlers is that they shouldn't do it!!!!

Really anoys me that one - I always drive up behind them and flash my lights!!

Also MAX speed limits are just that!! Not an invitation to drive at the limit always!! Though on faster roads I think it would be good to remind people of the lower limit - I think they do this in Canada if I remember rightly i.e. speed limit 40 - 60

kimi · 13/02/2007 11:02

Morning GM

OP posts:
gingermonkey · 13/02/2007 11:05

I don't mind people driving under the speed limit, especially in residential areas (I do, it makes sense) it's when the road is long, straight and clear with no turn offs and no houses, and they weave all over the place to not let me overtake, and then flash because I finally manage it and am driving at 60.

gingermonkey · 13/02/2007 11:05

Hiya Kimi

kimi · 13/02/2007 11:24

Good to see you GM, just having a look round MN and still on the heelies thread!!

OP posts:
gingermonkey · 13/02/2007 11:31

gotta love those heelies - and the idiots that think it's accetable to let their kids wear them instead of shoes around town!!!
