Yes, vampires etc are scary, but they feature in kid friendly cartoons, Mona the vampire, etc.

DD's nursery Halloween party had a child dressed as Chucky...this child was 3!

I don't think there's necessarily wrong in the costumes themselves but I think it's sad they probably won't know the whole story behind them. Or they shouldn't I would be judgey about that I think

Well Halloween isn't really for little kids is it? It's fine for older kids to go all out on the scarier stuff....
