Does anyone have any advice for dealing with scary 3am depressive thoughts? I am depressed and not sleeping. I really need some sleep tonight.
Particular hypno, relaxation or sleep apps anyone likes?
Thanks

I haven't had any luck with apps, but I like the focusing thing where you tense up your whole body then starting at your toes you consciously relax them, then your ankles, then calves etc etc, working your way up your body til you're completely loose.
If I am still thinking, I just repeat it over and over until I can relax enough to sleep.
Hope you get some rest and feel better tomorrow.

Samaritan's? Best way may be to get some of it out and they're great at listening. Hugs and ,🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Sorry I can't help much but didn't want to read and run, I rewatch old episodes of a TV show (Bones) until I finally fall asleep. I find the familiarity soothing.

I turn my radio to Radio 4 or World Service on a sleep timer - listening stops me thinking about whatever is going round and round in my head, and it's generally monotonous enough that I eventually drop off.
