To wash hair once a week - disagreement with Mil!

Just wondering how often your DCs have a bath/shower and wash their hair? Mine (aged 5 and 2) have a bath most evenings - at least 5 out of 7 days a week - and wash with soap. Hair wash once a week on a Sunday.
Mil was horrified to learn that they don't have a thorough wash every single night and appalled that hair is only done once a week.
Now I'm beginning to doubt my routine..... AIBU?

All 3 DCs shower every morning. DDs wash their hair every other day. DS washes his every day as it only takes 5 mins and gets rid of the previous day's gel! - to be honest its just routine in our house. Up, breakfast, showers, dress and out the door by 7am.

May I just kindly point out bathing regularly which is once a day as some people point out causes eczema and problems with dry skin.
Correction the hard water in d uk and contents in products or even some prescribed products cause all those skin irritations
My children had eczema and use soap and other good products on their skin and we now filter our water from d tank and have perfectly normal skin.
So it's not d frequent bath which to me is normal and a necessity for our life style in my home ( not my business how others tend to do theirs in a nice way) is the cause of skin problems.
Also I believe in colder countries people use to bathe less often in d week because it's cold and no access to hot water and warm houses. Now there is easy access to all those so no excuses in my home

Brianna that was hard to follow, but you can't assume everyone's eczema reacts the same way, it's a very individual thing. It's great you've found something that works for you. Some people's is better with daily bathing, some worse. No sort of soap is "good products" for me. Aqueous cream is good, but no use for hair.

DTs are 4 and have a shower a few times a week but I only wash their hair after swimming lessons on Sunday. Their hair is absolutely fine unless they get paint/glue in it at school. DT2 has really sensitive skin and it gets very dry if she baths too much.
