to think some women get it SO WRONG when trying to look younger

I am not anti-plastic surgery at all. I find it all very interesting. However, I constantly see examples of women who in trying to look younger, do the opposite. I was reading this and the DM claims that people think she is the sister of her daughters. She is 39 but if you scroll down, particularly to the last pic, she looks significantly older.

  • cascades of peroxide blonde hair extensions
  • ginormous boobs
  • over-inflated lips
  • PVC miniskirt.

I think all of the above makes you look older. If you want to look 25, then dress like a 25 year old. And have surgery (if you must) to look like you did at 25, not like a Bratz doll.

Sorry. Just had to get that out of my system Grin.

Actually maui I think you're just being a goady fucker. Why would 'chubby' women wear short skirts? Maybe because they like them? Who are you to judge?

Ginmakesitallok · 29/10/2016 10:11

So she looks like "a tart", what exactly is a tart? Why is it wrong for a woman to look like one?? So, it ok for her to make herself look younger as long as she doesn't look sexual??

MauiWest · 29/10/2016 10:18

Good grief, everybody judges, what are doing on this thread if you are not making judgement one way or another. So if I have a different opinion than you, if I don't agree with you, I am not allowed to post on here?

I stand by what I said, this woman does not look any younger than her actual age and the plastic surgery she had is awful. If she wants to look younger, she is doing it the wrong way.

PoppyBirdOnAWire · 29/10/2016 10:21

"Ginmakesitallok

Oh sigh... Soooooooooooo predictable.

PoppyBirdOnAWire · 29/10/2016 10:23

She is hideous.

Sallystyle · 29/10/2016 10:23

It's just sad isn't it?

Those boobs must hurt her back, get in her way and be generally uncomfortable.

It is sad when anyone feels the need to change themselves so dramatically and feel it is attractive to have boobs that are so massive they are going to cause back problems and to change what was a naturally beautiful face into a plastic looking face.

I just feel sorry for her.

Notso · 29/10/2016 10:25

She wants to look plastic and like a Barbie not younger, after all Barbie is 50.

EweAreHere · 29/10/2016 10:26

Ugh. Why did I click through? She is delusional if she thinks she looks young. She looks hard and aged. Her poor children, having to deal with that as a mother publicly.

LuckySantangelo1 · 29/10/2016 10:27

She was so attractive before the surgery! Such a lovely face. I agree with that posters that have said so much surgery can have an ageing effect.

LumpySpacedPrincess · 29/10/2016 10:27

This is exactly what the daily mail had in mind when they printed the article, lets all point and laugh at the silly woman, lets all judge her. Who cares, her body, her choice. I care more that this paper has an anti female agenda that shames women, it's part of the problem.

WhereTheFuckIsMyFuckingCoat · 29/10/2016 10:32

I clicked to read other people's' opinions, to see what people thought. At no point have I, or anyone else said that you can't post your opinion, I just happen to find it outdated and misogynistic. And I'd have to ask the same question, what is a tart exactly? I presume you mean she looks 'loose' or 'easy'? Correct me if I'm wrong, but why should a woman's sexuality be presumed on by how she chooses to dress, or have or show her body?

Do you also call the men who model for fireman type calendars, with bulging oiled pecs, heavily defined abs, those muscular lines down to their crotch area, huge biceps, permatans etc, 'tarts'?

WhereTheFuckIsMyFuckingCoat · 29/10/2016 10:37

I'll tell you what's hideous - the attitudes of women towards another woman who has clearly got some, at the very least, emotional issues going on.

furryminkymoo · 29/10/2016 10:46

Is this OP related to a specific person because I don't know anyone who uses these things way to look younger?

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 29/10/2016 10:46

I Think she's got a great porn star name, though - Amanda Love! [grin}
Reminded me of the Amanda Hugnkiss joke from The simpsons...

RJnomore1 · 29/10/2016 10:51

I have just turned 40 so about the same age - her face in the close up picture in the pink top, is that fillers gone wrong someone said?

Poor woman.

Also something I have observed on quite a few people - fillers and botox tend to make the wrinkles around your eyes much more noticeable do they not?

MissHooliesCardigan · 29/10/2016 10:54

I don't like that plastic look but I agree that some of the comments on here are horrible and exactly what the DM hoped for when they printed this.
Nobody who is happy in themselves spends vast sums of money that they can ill afford doing this to their body. There is almost certainly some kind of underlying issue. But let's all carry on laughing at her.

ginorwine · 29/10/2016 11:00

Do u mean natural tone hair ? Mine was strawberry blond red but now grey and it's dyed to my natural clout as was - that aging ?help !

AnyFucker · 29/10/2016 11:06

Ugh horrible thread

I didn't even have to click the link to know some of you are joining in with the DM'S own special brand of woman hating

ghostyslovesheep · 29/10/2016 11:12

what an unpleasant tone this thread has

'tart' ffs

stop being so bloody judgy of other women and their appearance

NovemberInDailyFailLand · 29/10/2016 11:20

I'm more worried that she's standing on the sofa wearing shoes.

winces

Oblomov16 · 29/10/2016 11:26

She was a pretty young girl. I don't think the picture of her face now is very flattering. It looks very plastic and distorted.
But I doubt she'll stop.

MauiWest · 29/10/2016 11:28

own special brand of woman hating

how can you be so delusional? The article is about a woman, so the comments are about a female. Another article or thread will be about a man, so the comments will be about a male. Why do you assume I have a positive opinion about oiled semi naked men? (do you even realise that the public for these calendars is not primarily female btw. Maybe research your subject a bit more)

She looks cheap! I am not going to apologise for having an opinion when she decided to expose herself in national press! Someone even mentioned her crotchless pants. Good eyes, I did not notice that detail...

Should we, male or female, be allowed to wear anything we please, as long as we respect the current laws of our country (and uniform regulations in specific instances bladibla)? Absolutely yes! Am I allowed to have an opinion? yes! Am I allowed to express it when it's a public person (and not a Jane Doe photographed in the street without their consent) Yes! If you want to dress like a porn star, well go for it, but I really do not think you should. It is not flattering, it's disrespectful towards your children and you look sad.

KoalaDownUnder · 29/10/2016 11:41

Look, nobody forced her to go in The Fail. She's not some innocent victim, fgs.

She has clearly bought into the idea that women should aspire to look as young as possible, at all costs, to be attractive. It's a horrible example for young girls, and I really don't feel guilty about saying on an Internet chat board that a) it looks shit, and b) it is therefore a heinous waste of money.

Toocleverbyhalf2 · 29/10/2016 11:44

My daughter owns a clinic where she has a doctor to do fillers and Botox and some of the results are tragic. Young girls who are only 20 - 30 having their lips filled to look like kylie Jenner. They don't need it! The doctor tells them that but they want to go ahead anyway. My daughter had hers done and she looked like a duck - she said she'd never have it done again. I'm 53 and could get it done cheaply but I don't. The upkeep is too much & I don't like the trout pout look.
The sad thing is my daughter makes a lot of money from this ( she does other treatments) and that's proof of supply and demand :((

HappyAxolotl · 29/10/2016 11:53

Where Amanda says she had to go into hospital as she'd got too thin, I'm reading between the lines and seeing an eating disorder. Plus she was a model, where her body and face would have been constantly compared harshly to others and that's not the way to a healthy self-image. She seems to have transferred the never-thin-enough addiction into a different sort of body dismorphia. All that and she's married to a man who encourages and enables her in this. If that's all, we don't know him or their marriage.

It's obvious from the pics that she would be stunningly beautiful without the surgery. How sad that she can't see it herself.
