To think none of us are as individual as we think?

Saw this on FB earlier. It's so spot on, and loads of my FB peers agree. How come we all recognise ourselves in it? I'm starting to think we may all be one homogenous cliched mass.

It's worth reading, it's very funny.

To some extent, I agree. I do think we are not as different to others as we imagine we are. I would never say we are all that alike though, either! I just think most of us have a lot in common. Or, as some wit once said "Remember, you're unique. Just like everybody else is."

BadToTheBone · 22/10/2016 15:23

TBH I don't see myself in that. Lol

But then I'm old and have no friends!

helpimitchy · 22/10/2016 15:25

Everyone is unique, but some are more unique than others Smile

Poocatcherchampion · 22/10/2016 15:29

Not for me either!

TheHiphopopotamus · 22/10/2016 15:31

I thought it was funny OP and I recognise myself (and my friends) in it.

Haven't tried clubbing with my gang of mums - normally a boozy meal out or boozy take away... But See myself in this for sure! Very funny. Specially like the bit where they are drunkenly showing off photos of their kids haha!

LittleWingSoul · 22/10/2016 15:35

Oh yeah and the easy outfit for a night out is obvs skinny jeans, heels and a dressy top... We always turn up in various combinations of this!

FlapsTie · 22/10/2016 16:28

I literally do almost every single thing mentioned. Especially the glass of wine while putting makeup on because then I give fewer fucks about it. I have never yet vomited into my handbag though.

Last time I went out I was 'regaling' a group of bemused twenty something boys with the fact I am sooo old and have loads of kids and don't get out much. Twat. Grin

Yes to skinnies, heels and a top. It's my night out uniform.
