AIBU for wishing I didn't have to listen to my neighbours random (often loud) conversations every night, being woken up by noisy neighbours, people hoovering, doors slamming etc on a daily occurence?

No, you are not being unreasonable, and I think this is a problem that is getting worse. People are just really inconsiderate.

No your not, noisy neighbours are selfish. I had to move to get away from my noisy neighbours.

'It's a free country. I can say whatever I like in my own home whenever I like'

There's far too much of this^ being said these days. A sense of entitlement that 'I'm all right Jack' so sod consideration for others.

The older I get the more considerate I get because I understand the impact my behaviour has on others. I see little evidence of the same around me. YANBU.

Thank you all. Its quite a stress when you try to go to sleep and either cant or get woken up multiple times in the night.
