Do I look like Delia Smith?

So I'm having a lovely time on maternity leave. DS is chilled and naps during the day. ( sometimes with much effort ).

DH has increased his expectation since I've been at home. I think it's my fault I've made it look easy.
He's been provided with a cooked meal everynight, all housework done.

His requests are starting to grate on me. Can I make pies from scratch, frequent roast dinner, baked goods, elaborate puddings. After all 'what do I do all day' drink tea and watch Jeremy Kyle
Tonight he asked me if I could provide something to dip his ketchup in like a pot.
Have I missed a trick? Are we meant to look like we can't cope so I don't get this shit.

Next thing is since when is everything 'my job' I've never seen a new mum job description and have never agreed to my 'jobs' which seems to be everything - except 'bring home the money'

AIBU to think I'm not Delia Smith or wonder women. --

This thread has made my morning - I was also wondering if the OP had been told she actually looked like Delia Smith!

OP you know what you are getting him for Christmas don't you - selection of Delia books, chefs hat and one of those pinnies that says "when I met Mr Right, I didn't know his first name was 'Always'"

I made it very clear when Dh and I were discussing how we would divide duties once DC came along that I would be quitting work to be a stay at home mum not to be a housewife. I think you and DH need a similar conversation.

Delia probably wouldn't have become the DS we know if she had had children. And the lovely Nadia has said often that she can only do all she does because her DH has stepped up and taken a very active part in the housework and childcare.

Was expecting pic too. It'll all blow over after GBBO finishes OP... My DP watches it with me and gets a bit 'can you make that' every week. It stops around the second week of November
