Binge watching sex and the city thanks to a horrendous cold.

The jukes and mimi viewing between Miranda and Robert is hilariously cringeworthy but also v v funny...

Feel my organs, sorry

Maudlinmaud · 12/10/2016 16:43

It was so bad it was good. The virgin kiss one was horrendous too. Confused

papayasareyum · 12/10/2016 16:43

when they performed a Live vasectomy on This Morning many years ago to show viewers how easy and painless it is. And the poor chap kept wincing and shouting Ow Ow Ow all the way through...

Every single time Marnie sings on 'Girls'.

kissmethere · 12/10/2016 17:38

Only read up to page 4 so sorry if anyone else has mentioned it.
Gordon Brown caught calling saying "who let that awful woman get near me" or something.
I was post op recovering in bed and my dad came in a tapped me on the shoulder and said "you HAVE to get up and see this!"
I waddled into the sofa and spent the rest of the afternoon watching the aftermath. It all being replayed, the press telling the woman and then Gordon hotfooting it round to her house to apologise. 😂

EverySongbirdSays · 12/10/2016 17:50

On the politics front :

Clegg and Cameron coalition backslapping on the first day in Downing Street

Ed Miliband just always, the bacon sandwich etc. He just defined awkward

Oh I remembered this one last night - the amazingness of Prince Philip just suffering no fools in his 90th birthday interview - he treated Fiona Bruce's bad questions with the contempt they deserved. Yes, he was rude and THAT was awkward, but the questions were just so poor and obviously trying to put words in his mouth.

SukeyTakeItOffAgain · 12/10/2016 17:58

Clegg and Cameron coalition backslapping on the first day in Downing Street

It was in the "rose garden" hence the bromance accusations. Apparently Dave looked at Nick sheepishly afterwards and said "I think we over did that."

zoebarnes · 12/10/2016 18:01

I came on to mention the parky interview with Meg Ryan, but I see it's been noted. I also writhed in shame at Tom hiddleston on GN show with Robert de Niro. He was doing so well after the success of the night manager, but hes just so charmless and cringey, and that was before Taylor Swift.

I can't watch Jeremy Kyle...at all! If I accidentally flick over to it for a second I practically injure myself crawling with discomfort for/at the contestants and jezza himself. I can't bear it.

ScaryMonstersandSuperCreeps · 12/10/2016 19:59

Dexy's Midnight Runner's on TOTP singing Jackie Wilson Said and good old BBC put a backdrop of a picture of.............. Jocky Wilson the dart's player!!! Grin

whattheseithakasmean · 12/10/2016 20:04

You have been warned, this is a duet of Celine Dion & Anastasia murdering You Shook Me All Night Long:

Amethyst81 · 12/10/2016 20:09

Ooh Celine Dion doing air guitar Blush

clam · 12/10/2016 20:15

There was a FiveLive radio phone in, chaired by Stan Collymore, when a bloke called in to comment on an amazingly powerful goal scored in a big match. "He whacked that ball into the goal harder than you hit Ulrika," he said!
Long pause, before Collhymore said something like, "next caller please."

clam · 12/10/2016 20:19

Oh God, and that hideous This Morning episode, in the days of Richard & Judy, where they gave Viagra to some bloke to take off to a hotel to try out. They then sat around, filling airtime, waiting for an update on the results.

DameXanaduBramble · 12/10/2016 20:26

Has anyone mentioned Twiggy and the Nolan woman pesenting This Morning? You could see there was no love lost there, it was so cringe.

EnthusiasmDisturbed · 12/10/2016 20:49

As we have moved onto radio

James Naughtie Jeremy Cunt

Grin

Odd video clip though ....

Maudlinmaud · 12/10/2016 20:51

Hahaha you can hear him laughing!

BowieFan · 12/10/2016 20:57

Oh I love Prince Philip. I know he's a mental old bugger, but I love him. I think my favourite gaffe of his was when he met some Aborigines and asked "do you still throw spears at each other?" Grin

How have we got this far into the thread without someone mentioning Simon Amstell absolutely destroying Preston on Never Mind the Buzzcocks? I can still remember watching that and wanting the ground to swallow me up.

BowieFan · 12/10/2016 21:01

midsomermurderess

The host wasn't being sexist at all. Simon Amstell is a staunch feminist - that's why he was taking aim at Preston's wife. He felt she was famous purely because she looked like someone else and managed to spin a short lived career out of it, despite being thick as pig shit. He felt her fame was an affront to genuinely talented women out there who hadn't been given the opportunities she had.

You should see Simon Amstell's stand up, he talks about it in detail.

EverySongbirdSays · 12/10/2016 21:02

Amstell/Preston has been mentioned a few times.

He and Mikita doing "Popworld" was always brilliant as they clearly hated most of the acts they were obliged to interview and just mocked the whole process

BowieFan · 12/10/2016 21:11

Ah, sorry, I'd only skimmed the thread.

Yes, I used to love Popworld. Like you said, it was good because you knew they didn't give a shit. I think a lot of pop stars respected that actually, because they felt exactly the same about press junkets. It's the same reason celebs go on Graham Norton - he doesn't really care about the films and neither do the celebrities really, it's just an excuse to get pissed in the name of "promotion"

Beebeeeight · 12/10/2016 21:32

When kelly Brook presents the big breakfast and asked the corrs how they met.

atomicpanda · 12/10/2016 21:48

Simon Amstell interviewed the fast food rockers on Popworld. They were super perky, but I recall that he said they were probably crying inside. Grin

TonaldDrump · 12/10/2016 21:58

Cara Delevine (sp??) being patronized by shallow idiots on 'good morning Sacramento'
