Church

Eolian · 09/10/2016 16:01

Breakfast, pottering about, dog walk somewhere lovely, bit of housework, bit of work work, nice lunch, bit more pottering and work, supervising homework, another dog walk, dinner, episode of whatever series we're watching, bit of knitting, bed.

CremeEggThief · 09/10/2016 16:05

Lie in bed. Even if I feel like getting up (rare), I make myself stay in bed until 10.30 at the very earliest, sometimes mid day.

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 09/10/2016 16:10

Wake at 7:30/8, DH or DS2 bring a cup of tea up, start getting ready then head out at about 8:45/9 to DS2's football match.

Head home after match for a quick bite to eat and shove some washing on then it's out again for DS1's football match.

Usually just have time to catch tesco before closing so grab a few bits we need, then home and start tea whilst washing and ironing whatever uniform stuff is left.

JustHereForThePooStories · 09/10/2016 16:12

Sleep til 9.30/10 then chats with DH and a long, slow sex session. Try not to surface before noo.

JustHereForThePooStories · 09/10/2016 16:12

Noon.

Sunday is our only day together as a family so it's our day for meeting up with family and friends or going someone fun together. So we get up around 8, have some breakfast and mooch about a bit and then head off our somewhere for the day, or get things ready for visitors depending on our plans for the day

Cherrysoup · 09/10/2016 16:15

Not going to lie, I get up by about 8.30, drink coffee and catch up online for a couple of hours, then dog walk. For me, Sumday is normally a down day, especially since I now have a sharer who looks after the horse on the weekend-it's hard trying to have a lie in after many years of having to be up at the crack!

TeenAndTween · 09/10/2016 16:16

Listen to The Archers whilst ironing. Helping with homework.

JaceLancs · 09/10/2016 16:17

Go to a car boot sale followed by coffee somewhere

HereIAm20 · 09/10/2016 16:27

Take son to football, watch son play football, ironing, watch football on tv!⚽️⚽️⚽️

Mrstumbletap · 09/10/2016 16:28

As little as possible.

DS jumps into our bed at 7ish usually and watches cartoons while we doze for a another hour. Then one of us gets the coffee and milk for DS.
We all laze, chat, play with DS.

Decide on breakfast at home or go out somewhere for brekky, or early lunch. Today we did fry up and a walk in the woods.

Then back to snuggle under a big blanket, drink coffee and watched a Disney

Sunday is our family day of rest and it's the best day of the week!! Smile

Sorry it said the first one failed to post.

Beebeeeight · 09/10/2016 17:37

I'm surprised so many say church.

I thought attendance was quite low.

In my entire adult life I've only known 5 families who go.

Anyway Sunday here isn't different from Saturday. Wake early with baby. One of us gets up. Other lies in.
If I'm making tea I'll use a pot and have 3/4 cups in peace.

Late breakfast.

Tv/mn.

Won't get dressed unless a specific event to go to.

Older DCs on screens.

I'd rather if we all got up and out and went walking/cycling but I'm always outvoted.

daisypond · 09/10/2016 17:55

Go to work, sadly, while cursing the reduced timetables and engineering work on public transport that make the journey even longer.. Sundays are a normal working day for me.

Ifeelyourpain2 · 09/10/2016 18:02

I get up and go for an hours run when I get up on a Sunday, whilst the kids and my husband have breakfast, then we chill for a bit before I then make a big roast. Afternoons are usually a walk or cycle ride altogether.

Deinonychus · 09/10/2016 18:17

DH drops the DC off at their sports activity then goes and does the weekly supermarket shop while I go for a lovely long run. All reconvene for lunch the do something together in the afternoon.

FithColumnist · 09/10/2016 19:26

Deal with my hangover, live in denial about the marking and housework I have to do. It's a particularly depressing day.

GladAllOver · 09/10/2016 19:27

Only one reply has mentioned Sunday morning sex!
It's the best time of the week to make slow, smooth love :)

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 09/10/2016 19:40

Glad Sunday morning sex and my DC are incompatible! Maybe when they are teenagers and actually sleep in....

Oysterbabe · 09/10/2016 19:41

Nah it's the best time of the week to make DH get up with the baby while you lie in alone.

Lolimax · 09/10/2016 19:45

Usually I go for an early morning swim then home for breakfast before taking the dogs for a 5kms walk. Today I treated myself to a lie-in, then DH to some Sunday sex before taking dogs for a longer walk/run. I much preferred today's activities and so did DH!!

happilyahousewife · 09/10/2016 19:45

Coach & watch DS play rugby

MaQueen · 09/10/2016 20:10

I like to lie in until about 11am, drinking tea and reading my Kindle.

We always go out for Sunday lunch, followed by a walk if it's not raining.

Sunday evenings we usually watch a film and eat lots of snacks.

Sundays are always very lazy for us, thank God Smile
