Why would someone do this?

In a meeting of about 8 people. It is a stand up meeting, so meant to be succinct, timely update for the day. Senior manager grips my shoulder as he makes a point about something procedural. Am I being AIBU about him touching me?

Are you the only person he touched? Are you the only female in the room? etc

Some people put a hand on the shoulder as a way of emphasising the point they are making. I wouldn't think anything of it myself.
