I use my parents' laptop at times in their house and some of my accounts are saved on it. As a result of all the horrible ad-sense type of trackers, if I browse something on ebay/amazon on my own laptop at home, the often get recommendations for similar products when they are browsing ebay/amazon. And as they don't have any ad blockers, these ads often pop up on their facebook or other sites they browse. We often comment about how creepy it is.

Of course I totally forgot this and feeling the need for a bit of self love I had a look at vibrators on ebay and amazon. I'm going to die of mortification if they figure this out! If I ever want to look at anything naughty, I normally use a separate browser where I'm not logged in on any websites. But I completely forgot this afternoon.

Go to your browsing history on Amazon and remove the items you don't want.

Thanks. I'd cleared my browser history but didn't clear that. I've also switched off recommendations. So hopefully they won't suddenly start getting sex toy recommendations.

DS age 34 was installing Chrome Cast on my laptop recently when I presume he came across my Lovehoney account (nosey sod).Nothing was said but I was alerted to his discomfort after hearing a gurgly cough type of throat clearing and saw his face take on an unusual hue of red,crossed with a green/puce type colour.
