Calling her dad a twat

AIBU to think that calling her dad a twat whilst 9 month DD is in his arms is a bit bad taste?

Unless her first word is twat, I don't think you should unduly worry

SaggyNaggy · 05/10/2016 08:18

Depends if he was acting like a twat to be fair.

Why did she call him it?

VioletBam · 05/10/2016 08:18

Is this a thread about a thread? If so, they're not allowed. Best ask for it to be deleted.

EdmundCleverClogs · 05/10/2016 08:19

Who called him a twat? What does the baby have to do with this scenario?

ImSoTakei · 05/10/2016 08:20

But IS he a twat?
Baby doesn't understand the word. Meh.

ghostyslovesheep · 05/10/2016 08:20

Bright 9month old

NoFuchsGiven · 05/10/2016 08:20

Who called who a Twat now?

Threebedsemii · 05/10/2016 08:28

Yabu. In homes across the land, frazzled parents of 9MOs are calling each other far worse.

PointlessUsername · 05/10/2016 08:30

Who said twat?

ditzychick34 · 05/10/2016 08:56

Guy DH works with said to DH " your dad's a twat" with DD sat on DHs knee. He isn't (mostly) I just felt it was a bit passive aggressive and unnecessary. Overreacting I realize and I didn't say anything to him

Chill out, will hear all sorts as time goes on

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 05/10/2016 09:01

Kid's grandad is a twat? Dh's dad? Or kid's dad?

As others say, unless the kid is some sort of alien lifeform genius, then she won't understand.

If my child's father/grandfather was randomly being called a twat though, I'd perhaps have a little thinky to see it he was.

Threebedsemii · 05/10/2016 09:03

Why didn't you explain that in your OP? How did you think anyone would make sense of it? Hmm

Your DH's colleague said to your 9 month old daughter "your dad's a twat"?

ditzychick34 · 05/10/2016 13:36

Yep

Unless she copied it I wouldn't be worried..
Unless your dh is indeed a twat then worry about that instead.

ItsJustNotRight · 05/10/2016 13:38

What is it with this word this week? See the other thread
