A friend was taking her toddler to Waitrose (stealth boast) - and as she was walking around the store putting things in the trolley, I loved the way her 2 yr old was just matter of factly doing exactly the same thing - probably thinking he was helping. I saw him choose - a corn on the cob thing with a butter thing already on it iyswim, - the funny thing wasn't so much him doing it, but the fact he was just doing it so matter of factly. It would be interesting to base the week's cuisine on the random things he put in the trolley!
