I'm so angry at him right now, he has the bug and every bloody time he goes to the loo and diaroeahs, he doesn't flush!!

I'm at my wits end! My parents said its unkind to tell him off when he's unwell but pulling a flush is hardly a hard job to do and he is 8 so knows exactly what he's doing!

YABU. Tell him, every time - mention it. But don't tell him off when he's not well.

By telling off, I'm saying 'please remember to flush the loo, not only is it unpleasant but it's also unfair if your brother and sister catch it'

His siblings are only 2&3 so they won't flush before hopping onto the loo after him..,

Yanbu, 8 is more than old enough to remember and reminding him firmly is fine, even though he's ill
