Hi all my ghd straighteners recently broke so my friends lent me her spare pair of her old straighteners ( Also ghds) I have only used them once went to turn them on today to use for a second time and they didn't work, my husband just changed the fuse which looked like it had blew ( looked black on edges) but still they dont work! What do I do? I have looked after them carefully and only used once! They are quite a few years old. Shall I replace them ?

Get it repaired. Yours too.

Might be worth getting your electrics tested if several heated appliances have all gone, especially being used in the same socket.
