to insist to cancel an order because it will not arrive in the specified time of arrival?

It's in a group buying site. I bought it three weeks ago. Date of arrival is 28/09 - 03/10.

I noticed it hasn't been dispatched so I asked, and they said it has just left the international destination and will take 7 business days to arrive then another few days for local shipping.

If you don't want it, then cancel.

CoolToned · 28/09/2016 22:43

The site says orders cannot be cancelled though. So in this case, I am not being unreasonable because the delay is in their end?

Distance selling regulations, or whatever they've been replaced with, say you can, surely?

DefinitelyNotAJourno · 28/09/2016 23:08

Assuming seller is in UK or at least EU?

CoolToned · 28/09/2016 23:13

I'm in Australia. I think seller is in UK. I purchased it through a group buying site in Australia.

Oh :( that doesn't help you then sadly.

Do you have any proof that the goods were to be delivered by a certain date? If so, speak to your credit card company and ask about a charge back

CoolToned · 28/09/2016 23:23

Yes, I do. It says so in the order details.
