Soubriquet · 27/09/2016 15:43

Heating is on here. I'm cold

Cathaka15 · 27/09/2016 15:48

I'm in London Richmond. It's 19 degrees. But it just feels very very cold.

Yeah, also in London and 19oC... Heating not on but it won't be long. I'm wearing coats when I go outside now.

Queenbean · 27/09/2016 15:50

It's nicely cool here (London, other side to you)

But I got on the train this morning and it was disgustingly muggy already as the dreaded heaters were on. Noooooo.

cookielove · 27/09/2016 15:51

I was freezing two nights ago, turns out I was just poorly Confused

kissmethere · 27/09/2016 15:51

Yep it's very cold and grey here (London) jumper on here.

TyrionLannisterforKing · 27/09/2016 15:53

Spring starts today down south. Now that winter was anything but hellish hot.

If you are freezing, turn on the heater. My AC was on during the winter, too.

TyrionLannisterforKing · 27/09/2016 15:53

Not, instead of now.

duskonthelawn · 27/09/2016 15:54

I know it must be getting chilly in our house because DP (exclamation marks) suggested last night we could put the heating on soon

I have just said the same thing to DH. I've had the heating on in the evening for the last few nights, as ds2 is asthmatic and had started coughing. Sure sign autumn is with us.Sad

PointlessUsername · 27/09/2016 16:02

I was cold in my house, then went out for the school Run and was boiling (London too)

ProseccoBitch · 27/09/2016 16:03

I was bloody freezing yesterday. It's always warmer outside than it is my office. I advise spicy soup.

Bloodybridget · 27/09/2016 16:06

I'm cold cos I've been sitting around indoors all day (major family photo sorting) but I'm aiming not to have heating on till October, just because I've got this far without it!

CwtchMeQuick · 27/09/2016 16:06

Heating is on here. Growing up we lived in a freezing cold house and weren't allowed the heating on before October half term, now I keep mine on the thermostat for most of the year so it comes on whenever the temperature drops.

HermioneJeanGranger · 27/09/2016 16:22

There's a cold going round. I was freezing a few days ago and then woe up on Sunday with an awful cold.

scaryteacher · 27/09/2016 17:04

Have the sniffles, but am sitting here in a T shirt, and next door has been lounging in the garden in her shorts.

JeSuisUnChocoholic · 27/09/2016 18:10

Cook some chicken broth if you have chicken wings or drumsticks. It'll steam up the house and you have a nice bowl of hot goodness afterwards.

I can post a good recipe if you want.

maddiemookins16mum · 27/09/2016 18:19

I've felt chilly since Monday, sat with a furry fleece over my legs at the moment. Have also put the medium quilt back on the bed. It's very autumnal these night.

maddiemookins16mum · 27/09/2016 18:20

Am trying not to put the heating on yet though, another couple of weeks and I'll give in.

ForFiveMinutes · 27/09/2016 18:34

Definitely a nip in the air. Have been shivering all day, now in a thick furry fleece with the heating going full blast. Feet are still like blocks of ice, might have to go to bed with a passion killer hot water bottle!

ExcuseMyEyebrows · 27/09/2016 18:39

A few posters have said their houses are colder than it is outside. Ours is the same, it's warm and muggy out but freezing indoors.
What is going on?

Cathaka15 · 27/09/2016 22:47

JeSuis- sounds good. Thanks.
