Just curious as to whether Corbyn's re-election means his popularity is better than the polls suggest and also if there is a divide in the geographical location of his supporters.

So, would you vote for Corbyn if there was a GE tomorrow and what part of the country are you in?

Me: I would vote for him. I am in London.

Yes. Cheshire.

RortyCrankle · 28/09/2016 00:53

Would I vote for an egotistical cretin who has destroyed his own political party, has no love or respect for his country or its people, is anti-semitic, a misogynist and who counts the IRA and Hamaz among his friends? No.

Actuallly I am a Conservative voter (Buckinghamshire) but even if I were not, I would never vote for him and he will never win a Genera Election. So I hope all you supporters enjoy the next ten years and beyond of Conservative Governments.

Idliketobeabutterfly · 28/09/2016 01:01

Nope

West midlands

MistressMolecules · 28/09/2016 01:03

I'm in the North of England, and yes I would vote for him. I love everything he stands for and believes in. I would love to see the country run by him.

PurpleTango · 28/09/2016 01:05

Not a chance! South West Wales

TriJo · 28/09/2016 01:06

Yes, I'm in his constituency.

MistressMolecules · 28/09/2016 01:06

Oh and if he wasn't an option Farron would get my vote for his pledge to keep us in the EU.

happyhearts7 · 28/09/2016 01:17

Never in a million years from Northern Ireland!!!

Our voting parties are different to the mainland but if they were the same I usually would not choose Tory but while Corbyn is leader it certainly would never be Labour!

engineersthumb · 28/09/2016 05:59

This man has single handedly destroyed the Labour party. Why on earth should party members decide leadership/cabinet position. Politicians are not there to represent party members interests they are there to represent the interests of the erelectorate. I just hope the party splits and we get a proper centre left party which is free from unions and the lunatic left fringes. Honestly it's 2016 not 1983 and we desperately need a strong opposition to May. Remember the damage Maggie did, i remember my fsther struggling to find work and then earning a pitence 7 dsys a week whilst he watched the Torys say "it got to be hurting to be working" and "unemployment is a price worth paying". Maggie 2 is even worse. Rant over but please see sense a ditch this man.

piapiapiano · 28/09/2016 06:08

No I wouldn't.

The Ruth Smeeth incident clearly showed the sort of leader he is. He would be a disaster for this country.

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 28/09/2016 06:08

Yes in London but mostly to vote not conservative.

malificent7 · 28/09/2016 06:15

Yes... why is being an activist mutually exclusive to being a leader? We NEED activists.
I like the way ge didnt resign when everyone else did.

Yes yes yes -Leeds

Ankleswingers · 28/09/2016 06:56

Never in a million years.

Not ever.

I'm in the South East.

CuppaSarah · 28/09/2016 06:58

Yes and south east.

He sticks to his principles even if it's an unpopular opinion. I like that kind of integrity, I don't think he would be an effective pm as there's so much opposition blocking him, but we really need some change in politics right now.

Tinygem · 28/09/2016 07:17

Yes, absolutely - Yorkshire.

LowAMH · 28/09/2016 07:45

No, never in a million years

FrameyMcFrame · 28/09/2016 07:56

Interesting to see how many former labour voters wouldn't vote for him.

I'd've liked the op to come back and say whether the response was what she expected or not.

Realhousewivesofshit · 28/09/2016 08:46

He's the Tory party's dream leader for labour isn't he.

Hate the leaderships attitude to women and casual violence and anti demerit views too.

Hideous take over of a decent wonderful party.

Look out for years of the tories, again.

cingolimama · 28/09/2016 08:48

No way would I vote for Corbyn. London. And have voted Labour for thirty years.

Hockeydude · 28/09/2016 09:11

No way. I'd rather bin my vote. I think he is on another planet, where money grows on trees but everything's free anyway so people just dance naked amongst the bank notes that float in the wind.

Live in floating voter territory where consituency usually elects candidate from the party that will win.

CotswoldStrife · 28/09/2016 09:15

No way. Currently in SW, originally from the NW.

shovetheholly · 28/09/2016 09:16

Yes, absolutely. And I said I'd never ever vote Labour again! Yorkshire.

ItsJustNotRight · 28/09/2016 09:26

The 70s? Yes, I lived through the 70s, I remember Ted Heath's 3 day week. I also remember the so called looney left and the much hyped Winter of Discontent. I also remember the 80s. The poll tax, sale of council houses, destruction of industries, the miners strike, the ending of social security benefits to school leavers creating a new social class of homelesss beggars sleeping on the streets, deregulation, demonising TUs, sale of all nationalise utilities, removal of rent controls, I could go on. There are currently 1,000,000 people dependent on food banks. Housing is beyond the reach of the majority of the young, students amass massive debts. Cameron gambled our EU membership on a whim and then ran away. Brexit sold its voters a pack of lies and yet still a lot of voters remain terrified of the looney left as they fear they will harm the country.
