Just curious as to whether Corbyn's re-election means his popularity is better than the polls suggest and also if there is a divide in the geographical location of his supporters.

So, would you vote for Corbyn if there was a GE tomorrow and what part of the country are you in?

Me: I would vote for him. I am in London.

I agree with lots of his policies, but he's no leader. I would vote Labour, not Corbyn.

miserablemoo · 27/09/2016 15:22

No way. In the NW

Nokidslovesitethough · 27/09/2016 15:23

No.

South Wales which Labour has ran into the ground.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 27/09/2016 15:24

It's the fact that I would never, ever, vote Conservative that means I will always, always, vote Labour. I mean, unless the world goes even madder and Donald Trump becomes leader or something ...

Geekmama · 27/09/2016 15:25

YES!!! I live in Kent and I'm a member of the Labour Party.

SunnyInMay · 27/09/2016 15:26

Absolutely not. I'm in Suffolk and from a family of life long Labour supporters, also used to have a membership but have cancelled it now. I feel so sad about what he's doing to the party Sad

CoffeeAtLukes · 27/09/2016 15:26

Yes.

I'm in the west of Scotland.

phillipp · 27/09/2016 15:27

No. Yorkshire.

Although I might be convinced if he expels Tony Blair from the Labour Party.

CalypsoValdez · 27/09/2016 15:29

I've always voted Labour but I won't vote for them under Corbyn. Yorkshire.

Yawnyawnallday · 27/09/2016 15:30

No.
Manchester.
First time in my life I won't vote Labour if he is leader. We have a good local MP and I intend to write to him personally explaining why I can't vote for a party that would put JC as Prime Minister.

Heathen4Hire · 27/09/2016 15:32

Nope. I live in London, which is Labour dominant. I hate the political landscape here.

I tend to vote for fringe parties now. Labour can kiss my arse and I still won't vote for them. The Tories are money-grabbing capitalist arse wipes, who are the liberal democrats? And oh, UKIP can fuck off too.

ilovelamp82 · 27/09/2016 15:32

Definitely. South West.

samG76 · 27/09/2016 15:35

London - not a chance, as am Jewish.

samG76 · 27/09/2016 15:36

PS - am long standing labour party member

ItGoesWithoutSaying · 27/09/2016 15:36

Another Labour Party member who is on the verge of cutting up her card here. In despair over where he has taken the Party.

Would still vote Labour even if I left if there was a decent local candidate like last time.

CancellyMcChequeface · 27/09/2016 15:39

I probably wouldn't vote for Corbyn, but I've never voted Labour. I do like Corbyn better than Owen Smith.

I live in London.

AlbusPercival · 27/09/2016 15:41

SamG76 - do you believe labour to be more anti-semitic under JC? Clearly no amount of anti-semitism is acceptable, just curious. DH is also Jewish, but has only joined labour in last year.

LellyMcKelly · 27/09/2016 15:42

South East. I can't imagine him as prime minister in a million years. He has the support of the party, but not of the wider electorate. He has failed to challenge the government on any aspect of Brexit, and failed to provide effective opposition when we have never needed it more. It's a No from me. I think he's a nice man, and his heart is in the right place, but he's no leader.

ArseHair · 27/09/2016 15:44

Yes, I would.

East Midlands

user1471439240 · 27/09/2016 15:44

No, North.
The last Marxist revolutionaire destroyed our industry.
No more, thanks.

HardcoreLadyType · 27/09/2016 15:44

No
London

I do approve of an anti austerity stance, but he is no leader.

He doesn't understand the concept of compromise.

And his history on NI is just reprehensible (whatever spin he may be putting on it, now.)

missyB1 · 27/09/2016 15:44

Yes definitely. I'm in Gloucestershire (never sure if that is south West or Midlands!)

FriendofBill · 27/09/2016 15:46

Yes.
Surrey.

Branleuse · 27/09/2016 15:46

yes, east anglia

RusholmeRuffian · 27/09/2016 15:48

Yes. I'm in the South East.
