Just curious as to whether Corbyn's re-election means his popularity is better than the polls suggest and also if there is a divide in the geographical location of his supporters.

So, would you vote for Corbyn if there was a GE tomorrow and what part of the country are you in?

Me: I would vote for him. I am in London.

Arggghhh. Just come back to scream at all these posts about the economy. Have a look at statistics and see how many countries run without a deficit. The Tories have sold us a load of nonsense and everyone has lapped it along with all the damage Thatcher caused 30 odd yrs ago. Without a radical labour government we would never have had the NHS. Just remember that the Tories voted against its introduction way back when and are still trying to do their best to dismantle it nearly 70 yrs later.

mummymeister · 27/09/2016 18:58

I have attended meetings where Corbyn spoke in favour of leaving Europe and was very, very anti Europe. why did he not "stick to his principles" on this then eh?

EdmundCleverClogs · 27/09/2016 18:59

That should be Corbyn not Corbin obviously Blush

bertsdinner · 27/09/2016 18:59

Im in West Yorkshire, in a "Labour stronghold", actually. I think Corbyn is a 70s throwback, but he has grown on me.
I wouldn't vote for him or Labour, though.

Yorkieheaven · 27/09/2016 19:00

Those supporting Jeremy are you happy that his closest ally asked for s woman to be lynched in the light of the murder of Jo Cox? And refuses to apologise? Really? Seriously?

Judgement? Decency? Jesus Christ.

mummymeister · 27/09/2016 19:00

you wont get a radical labour govt with Corbyn and Momentum on the ballot paper.

do a bit of research and learn from history itsjustnotright why do you think Thatcher got into power and stayed there?

user1471469159 · 27/09/2016 19:00

Yes, central southern

limitedperiodonly · 27/09/2016 19:00

I can't vote for a party led by a man and satellites who are mysogynistic and racist. Just can't.

Fair enough Yorkie. I don't like that either. I just can't think of anyone else to vote for. I think they are misognystic and their racism is anti-semitic. I also remember the late 70s and 80s and do not believe Corbyn when he feigns ignorance of anti-semitism which was rabid and wrapped up with left-wing hatred of Israel, Zionism, business, big or small, and anti-Americanism. I always thought Corbyn was Jewish. Not that it matters to me. I'm not, but some of my best friends...

CinderellaRockefeller · 27/09/2016 19:01

Isn't it interesting how not one person has said, yes I voted Tory at the last election but I'm going to go labour this time because Jeremy does it for me?

Just a load of bickering about not being left wing enough.

roarfeckingroar · 27/09/2016 19:02

God no. London.

Yorkieheaven · 27/09/2016 19:03

its

The NHS has suffered under all governments due to lack of funding but mainly because the 1945 model has no provision for people living past 75 or with the expensive complex procedures not dreamed of then.

No government has funded it properly.

Again would you support a man who thinks it's acceptable to call for violence against a female opposition MP?

thecolonelbumminganugget · 27/09/2016 19:04

No. East Midlands

Everytime I hear something sensible that I agree with it turns out its Tim Farron saying it

mathsmum314 · 27/09/2016 19:04

if you've always or usually voted Labour, why not?
I think you have had the answer on here, JC is more extreme/dangerous than TM. The only way to get Labour back to sanity is for JC to be destroyed at the general election.

RayofFuckingSunshine · 27/09/2016 19:04

Yes.

North East

mummymeister · 27/09/2016 19:04

or about being too far left Cinderella. I wouldn't vote for Bleurgh because I felt he had blood on his hands.

I wont vote Corbyn and Momentum for the reasons said previously in my posts. I will hopefully find a local candidate that reflects my views and vote for them. no idea who yet but certainly not Labour.

Yorkieheaven · 27/09/2016 19:05

I know limited sgree who the hell can we vote for? Sad

mummymeister · 27/09/2016 19:07

yorkie I think you might have to stand!

seriously though I think we all have to lobby our labour MP's and get them to form a breakaway party or else try and see who will stand in our constituency as a true labour candidate.

vote labour get Momentum.

TheFairyCaravan · 27/09/2016 19:09

Nope, never in a million years.

East Midlands and a member of the Labour Party until I get back from holiday on Friday morning.

Spudlet · 27/09/2016 19:09

No way. Labour Party membership cancelled here (Norfolk). Mind you that's not solely down to Corbyn - the phrase 'piss-up in a brewery' springs to mind after the recent shenanigans...

I can't stand him. Everyone goes on about his principles, but all I see is a smiling assassin who lets others do his dirty work.

hippy1952 · 27/09/2016 19:15

Yes. I live in Hampshire.

Yorkieheaven · 27/09/2016 19:16

mummy please do stand. Smile

Do you think s breakaway party would be feasible? I just don't know. It happened before when labour imploded but no idea if that could occur now.

Seems to me that unfortunately UKIP took that spot in England and Wales and SNP took Scotland.

What a bloody mess!

oklumberjack · 27/09/2016 19:18

Never ever under Corbyn. I'm a floating voter and have voted Labour in the past but lean towards Liberal.

tiredandhungryalways · 27/09/2016 19:20

Yes. North

2rebecca · 27/09/2016 19:23

No, in Scotland and will vote SGP, lib dem or SNP or even conservative (I like Ruth Davidson) before labour at the moment. I think he's McDonnell's puppet and find McDonnell deeply creepy.

FrameyMcFrame · 27/09/2016 19:23

No

And I'm a labour supporter.

I'll vote LibDem.
