to wonder about all the hype behind the VB fashion line?

I'm not looking to start a VB slating thread here. For what it's worth, I quite like her.

I only want to talk about the clothes.

I thought her first few lines of evening dresses with the sexy zips were really lovely. But, the newer lines seem a bit bland and incredibly expensive. I know the clothes are an outstanding quality etc and the shows get rave reviews from the fashion press and lots of positive media in general.

Am I missing something? Do I need to get with the program?

I pop into her Dover Street shop fairly often and a lot of her dresses are outstandingly beautiful.

I'm not as crazy about her non-dress designs.
