Changing rooms...

My daughters best friend works in a high street store which sells mainly lingerie. A man came in and proceeded to tell her that he was a straight man but wore women's underwear. He then asked to try various items in the changing room. They only have women's changing rooms. Daughter's friend felt uncomfortable but checked with manager and they said go ahead, although they weren't that happy about it. He went off to try items, left without buying anything. When I was discussing it was the friend earlier, she said that she felt conflicted as her instinct was to not discriminate as she has friends who are gay, lesbian, non binary etc, etc, but felt that this man had another agenda... I'm inclined to agree with her.

I'm confused. Was it a communal changing room? If yes, an obvious no. If it's individual cubicles, what's the issue?

I'm also confused as to whether it was communal or individual -- AFAIK, if the shop is indeed Anne Summers they are usually individual cubicles.

Sorry, forgot to say that was tatertots's post above.

Ha, how things have changed when a man happily grabs some silky undies and queues with the womenfolk to try them on and everyone's too cool to raise an eyebrow. Won't look at me new Markys undies in the same way again.

If the OP names the shop, then the poor girl with be recognised and possibly disciplined.

Disciplined for what?

She hasn't done anything wrong.

I agree Worra, but that won't help this young girl. You are wise enough to know that company's don't like their name being linked to a negative story and will find some way of punishing her.

Meh! No-one has to mention the girl anyway. If they'd been in the shop they would have overheard.

I'm not fussed either way, just thought it might be helpful to those who are bothered, to be able to complain.

Which store lets people try underwear and put it back on the shelf. Please name them. Aside being from perverted that this man’s fetishes are being indulged this way, it’s disgusting and unhygienic.
