Someone has left their pants on my driveway (with diagram)

I got back from the school run this morning to find a pair of boxer shorts at the top of my drive.

We live in a private row of houses so no one really comes in apart from the residents.

They don't belong to my ndn and the other two neighbours have been in and out and ignored them drove over them

They are bright red character ones and are hard to miss.

Wwyd? I don't really want to go and pick them up. Can't really known on doors to see if anyone's lost their pants.

Take them to the police station. If nobody claims them within six months you'll get to keep them.

Look! just go an put them on fleabay and claim that they were worn by some celb or other and that you can still see some markings . Some mug will buy them;!

One of your trees looks slightly phallic. Could the pants have blown off that tree in the bottom left hand corner?

I once found some pants on my driveway - turns out they belonged to Dstepdad who had seen a wasp whilst getting changed upstairs and thrown the pants at it. They missed the wasp and went our of the window, and he forgot to collect them before leaving for work.

So perhaps you have a neighbour who had his pants scared off by a wasp?

Well it's obvious who left them there. It's only superman isn't it? Duh!

I actually had to stand on my drive and take that photo hoping no one would notice. I was standing trying to look like I was texting.

I messaged dh to tell him and he replied "disgusting".

I think I'll let him move them later when it's dark and let everyone think they're his.
