Son too ill to go to uni today !

Post for traffic
Feel really upset for him but kno for the best
But he v anxious will miss fresher week , friends etc
We where all geared up , computer packed , supermarket shop .
Can't settle
Hope it for the best n fingers crossed better by next week
It's a nasty virus

Awww your poor ds. Glad you've got him the right Meds. I am going to suggest you take him as soon as he feels slightly better. Has he at least been in contact with his flatmates via Facebook? When I started uni they made Facebook groups for the halls we were in and you could ask who was in your flat. Otherwise people might think he's hiding in his room :)
I'm going to go against the grain and say that freshers week is quite important for a socialising aspect. Of course he will make friends when he gets there, but freshers week was up there in the best week (or fortnight in my case) of my whole uni experience. It's be a shame for him to miss it all.

The FB groups are a good idea as Youwhoo says.

My DD was signed up to her halls one and one for her course too. Made her less anxious when she finally went.

There is a chance he may go tomorrow ( yes he has missed some amazing line ups musically )! He is eating at last - I ran round him y day tempting him w good food and he ate beef pie
Mash and mushy peas , yogurt and ice cream n jelly during the day . Fingers crossed !!!!!!!!!!!

Glad he's on the mend OP.

Hope you are ok too. I found it hard to take my eldest to Uni last year... I might have cried a bit when I left her there
