child biting

My child attends nursery
For the past 3 weeks every day (apart from one when the group was split) he has been bitten by the same child.
AIBU to think that the nursery aren't doing enough to protect my child or help the biter)
The first couple of times I was ok (well as OK as you can be about your child being bitten as these things do happen) but I am getting increasingly annoyed that the steps that they say are being taken are either not working/not being done.
How long should I expect this to continue, I am looking at alternative childcare arrangements but I assume a notice period would need to be given.

Help!

Yanbu. I wouldn't be happy with this at all!! Poor boy! Do you know if the biter is only biting him or are other children being bitten too?! What are the staff doing about this?

Dd was bitten at nursery and they informed me the child will be getting a one to one as it was completely unprovoked and they had previously bit another child. No more biting incidents after that.
I'd be speaking to the manager and explaining its not fair on the child who needs support or any of the other children.

Other children have been bitten but not at the same frequency as my lo.
Staff have taken steps apparently but I am not sure how effective they are if it keeps happening Sad

Oh the shame of having a child that's a biter. My youngest did this, I've no idea why. When he was about 16 months he woke his brother up one morning by by biting him on the face. His brother is 2 yrs older. Fortunately he grew out of it before play school age so it was his brother that got the brunt of it. It made me more tolerant though when the younger son was bitten at playgroup.
