Also make each meal contains exactly the same so, if you're mixing 4 different foods put 1/4 of each in the bowl, each meal. If it changes each meal, clever pups know to hold out for better.

Perhaps to make his dry food more appetising you try a tiny bit of wet food in with the dry and stir it up so its all coated in the wet food and stick with that until he is consistently eating his food.
