Hygge.

Cost, content, happy.

Sanctuary: a place where we escape to, for a little R&R and TLC.

This is what these threads are about - chocolate, kindness, chat and love. Join us!

AGL why? It'll still be the same thread, just in chat, so that our personal info doesn't stay after 30days.

AverageGayLadAtChristmas · 13/09/2016 14:26

But I like us being a little oasis in AIBU :(

HelenaDove · 13/09/2016 14:29

Yes i dont really see the point of moving them. Even if they are posted in 30 days thats still more than long enough for the DM to pick it up.

And there is the possibility that some of us may want to look back at the old threads later on and we cant do that if they have been deleted.

HelenaDove · 13/09/2016 14:30

Blue Chat threads are deleted after three months.

jetSTAR · 13/09/2016 14:33

Doofus I agree with checking the nutritional value of the wet food. Also isn't dry food supposed to help with keeping their teeth clean? I would mix a small amount of dry food in with the wet as Blue said. I used to give my dogs wet food in the am and dry in the pm, but now my old dog can't really manage the dry food Sad so she just has wet.

I'd be happy with a move too.

DoofusMcfoofus · 13/09/2016 14:38

Does anyone have a wet food recommendation? I'll mix it with dry to ensure he gets a balanced diet.

AGL please stay if we move, it won't be the same without you Sad

HelenaDove · 13/09/2016 14:38

However if its due to some posters not feeling safe or secure then i will back a move too

bakedpeachesandchampagne · 13/09/2016 14:43

Don't go AGL - you would be much missed Sad. It won't make a difference to the y'know general amazing'ness of the thread.

doofus have a look at BARF diet and see what you think. I don't do it but know many that rave about it in terms of being the best thing for them. I feed mine dry - however he would (and does given half a chance) eat ANYTHING.

I've bought new clothes. Again. My name is bakedpeachstuff and I am a clothes'aholic and shoes and cosmetics.

VanillaSugarandChristmasSpice · 13/09/2016 14:45

I would love it if these threads could stay. But there's too much personal information on them. The Daily Mail is the least of our problems - it's strange stalker people who go through threads with a notebook and write down key facts that we've intermittently posted about ourselves. Google some facts - and bingo.

That was my reasoning too. I'm not worried about daily fail, I'm worried about creepy stalkers.

PrettyBlueDressForTheXmasBall · 13/09/2016 14:56

peach do you want to vote on staying in aibu or moving to chat?

PrettyBlueDressForTheXmasBall · 13/09/2016 14:58

Oh and sorry it is 90days /3 months in chat not 30days. Don't know where 30came from Confused

HelenaDove · 13/09/2016 15:02

YY Vanilla Good points And sometimes ppl like that are closer than we think.

bakedpeachesandchampagne · 13/09/2016 15:03

Oh sorry I didn't realise I should prettyblue. I am happy either way - probably happiest moving if it enhances our safety and protects members to a greater degree.

AnnieOnnieMouse · 13/09/2016 15:54

I would prefer to move, but not happy about the risk of losing AGL

Does it really matter where we are on here? Confused

MrsTerryPratchett · 13/09/2016 17:07

I vote stay. I like being in AIBU for the same reason as AGL. It's an oasis in a very odd desert. But I'll go with the majority.

VanillaSugarandChristmasSpice · 13/09/2016 17:35

Well, here's my compromise....

No more photos of faces. Knees bums & tums are fine. No pictures of the outside of houses. Ask mumsnetHQ to delete your existing face photos. Be stricter with personal information.

I'm only saying this because there are two of you on here who I could find, pitch up on your doorstep and demand endless cups of tea. I'm not going to do that because I'm too lazy nice, but someone else who has been lurking in these threads might.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 13/09/2016 17:42

Ok, I promise no more faces. It's because they're breaking your screens isn't it?

I'm happy to move to chat or stay here, don't mind.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 13/09/2016 17:44

I've reported my picture. I can't remember which thread I put the last one on? Anyone remember so I can go back and delete it?

jetSTAR · 13/09/2016 17:44

Fine with me Vanilla oh great and glorious founder.

On a different topic, Red as a crocheter, are you aware of Wooly Hugs?

DoofusMcfoofus · 13/09/2016 17:55

Ah feck, my sister just 'liked' MN on Facebook Confused that means she may be among us. I haven't posted anything personal apart from my puppy since I NC though.

DontFuckWithMyChocolate · 13/09/2016 17:57

Jet I am aware of woolly hugs, but I don't go on there very much. I'll have to have a look now.
