Speaking as a man....

'Man here'

'Male opinion'

Please just stop it. Unless your post has something to do with your genitals (in which case probably don't post it) it has no relevance to what you are about to say.

We won't all stop, draw breath, and think 'finally! A man's opinion. We can all stop debating now'.

It just makes you look like a pompous mansplaining tosser.

OP posts:

:(

ShouldHaveBeenJessicaFletcher · 11/09/2016 23:43

If I see one comment about bullying from certain MN users, I'll be on it immediately.

Just sayin'

(AGL You're fab)

AverageGayLadAtChristmas · 11/09/2016 23:51

How do you mean Jess?

ShouldHaveBeenJessicaFletcher · 11/09/2016 23:53

AGL I think it's unfair people feel they have to leave a public forum because their opinions and contributions are regarded as invalid.

AverageGayLadAtChristmas · 11/09/2016 23:55

I agree :(

ShouldHaveBeenJessicaFletcher · 11/09/2016 23:57

Don't do the sad face.....

LouisvilleLlama · 11/09/2016 23:58

One thing I don't get is, I know MN is mostly women but surely that's different to MN being for women. So the OP says about genitals they probably shouldn't post, but MN is for everyone and whilst I don't advocate it on Chat why couldn't a man post about testicles in General health for example?

AverageGayLadAtChristmas · 11/09/2016 23:59

Well it's my job to protect you now with my matronly bosom

AverageGayLadAtChristmas · 12/09/2016 00:00

What do you mean you don't advocate it? Louis

LouisvilleLlama · 12/09/2016 00:05

Well you wouldn't see a female poster often post about say thrush on chat, so think it would be inappropriate for a guy to do so about their testicles but I see no issue in general health why that would be an issue for anybody. As I said just because it's mostly women doesn't mean it's for just women. Sure a lot of the posters can't help or have experience but the other male posters could, also I'd like to think worried men could get emotional support like some female posters ask for if they are medical afraid, in which case testicles or not emotional support could be offered

HelenaDove · 12/09/2016 00:07

Ive been on MN for 5 years and if i left id probably develop a twitch after less than a day.

Kr1stina · 12/09/2016 00:12

Speaking as a runner, I'd just like to say that I know why Andrew is ofGG.

#madstalker

And this is what all us runners think about names ( I'm speaking for them all, everywhere in the world ) :

We don't mind if male posters choose names that identify their sex. If they wish to let everyone know, this is a lot less annoying that the " speaking as a man " .

If any of you have any questions about running, feel free to ask.

AverageGayLadAtChristmas · 12/09/2016 00:19

How do I avoid running for eternity?

Kr1stina · 12/09/2016 00:34

Just stop at the finish line .

Next?

PanGalaticGargleBlaster · 12/09/2016 09:45

That's an act of terrorism

FFS Hmm

There have been men in Relationships, who've posted for support and who have got support.

There have been men in Relationships who've posted and have been sniffed out as an abuser trying to stalk their partner/wife, who have been well and truly drubbed.
