Just that really, certain person I know complains about not having enough but they have no health conditions and have enough to get by. No reason why they couldn't work.

Aibu to just say get a job and late 60s isnt really that old thee days?

I'm already planning on working until I'm at least 70 (health permitting) becuase I did not start a personal penison until age 35.

So yes if I can't afford to work in my late 60s, I would do something about it and only moan if I had tried to get a job but couldn't (same as any unemployed person)

My dad is in this position he's 73 but still working due to losing all his money 10 years ago when he got shafted. He doesn't moan about it though.

I don't put my age or date of birth on CVs either but every time I fill in a job application form they ask for the qualifications, the year you sat the exams, and the exact dates of every job you have ever worked in. It's impossible to hide your age. And now that I'm in my 40s it is starting to worry me...

brasty · 11/09/2016 10:38

Exactly. They might not be able to work out if you are 61, or 62, but they do have a good idea of your age.

brasty · 11/09/2016 10:39

Also if you are older, some of the qualifications have changed. So it is obvious you are older.
