To refuse an Amazon order?

I ordered an item yesterday morning and quickly realised I had ordered the wrong thing. I went only to cancel and had an email back to say that it was too late to cancel but that I was welcome to refuse the delivery. My concern is the delivery driver. Presumably they will still be paid? It seems really unfair if, because of my error, they wouldn't get their payment which is probably pretty negligible anyway.

Just accept it and return it then. No idea whether the driver will still be paid.

HaPPy8 · 08/09/2016 11:14

Confused just return it. It's not hard.

Bettybooop25 · 08/09/2016 11:40

Just return it ffs.

Honestly, how to some people cope when they are faced with an actual important decision.

AntiHop · 08/09/2016 11:57

I'd have the same concern about the delivery driver. Their employment conditions are often very bad.

AndNowItsSeven · 08/09/2016 11:57

Refuse it, amazon tell you to refuse it.

AndNowItsSeven · 08/09/2016 11:58

And yes the delivery driver will be paid.

MyDressIsInferiorBlue · 08/09/2016 12:11

Why wouldnt their delivery driver be paid? He's still done his job. Amazon tell you to refuse delivery, so refuse.

No need to be rude, really.
Thanks everyone.
