To ask for your best adult Halloween costumes?

I need ideas as I'm meeting my partners family at their Halloween party this year.
I'm holding out that MN will have some crackers.

Oh and by adult I mean for me to wear, not porno outfits

Can you make a cardboard telly box, dress up as whatsherface from The Ring, and then crawl through it at random moments after drink has been taken?

Well, it's not particularly original, but one year I ordered a long pink satin dress and a long blonde wig online. Covered myself in fake blood. Instant Carrie!

I went as an estate agent last year - suit, made a foxtons sign to carry round. Went down a treat.

A friend did Patrick Bateman but that might only work in certain circles

I once got some old jeans and old but not thick jumper and a balaclava and covered them in cheap bandages. The Mummy. Took a while but everyone raved about it.

As a student we had nothing to make a costume with and no money (well not spare as it was required for beer!)
We did however have orange curtains... A curtain stuffed with 8 pillows, with leggings and a green hat makes a great pumpkin costume. Tis a tad warm though.

Black and yellow striped jumper (you can stick yellow masking tape on the jumper to make stripes, black leggings and cheap wings and you are a bee 🐝.

Big box of cornflakes strapped to your front. Loads of fake blood/plastic knife. A serial killer.

I like doing Day of the Dead sugar skull makeup.

Velma from Scooby Doo. Mainly because I look a bit like her.
