I've always thought this was kinda like stealing, but adverts on my phone are really getting annoying.

The full screen ones or the ones that constantly stay fixed on the screen taking up 1/4 of the screen are the worst.

Unethical?

Like stealing? Shock How?

Well in that your using something and not paying for it.

My DD strongly encouraged me to install Adblock on my laptop. I keep getting told off by news websites, saying they have to pay their journalists!
It is a little like stealing because many sites rely on advertising revenue, so we really shouldnt use them if we can't accept that.

As the ads annoy me and make me less likely to buy a product, no, not really. I dont mind sidebar ads which you can just ignore, but popups are a total pita

Yep I now get the same warnings to make you feel guilty. Also some sits refuse to work unless I unblock. I wish there was a middle ground

Of course the warnings make you feel guilty - that's what they're designed to do. Don't rise to it.
