Non-resident parent has just moved about an hour’s drive away. NRP works p/t and has the kids overnight EOW and sees them for a few hours on the non-overnight weekend.
Now NRP is expecting the resident parent, who works full-time and has to do a lot of driving as part of that, to take the DCs over and collect them, or at the very least meet part way along the journey for a handover.
AIBU to think that if NRP has chosen to move away, and was told beforehand that the RP could not manage to take on all the additional driving, that they should be making appropriate arrangements to pick up the DCs rather than expecting the RP to do it? (Meeting part way might have been an option if they were reliable but RP started taking DCs round because NRP was so frequently late/forgot/overslept that it was causing the DCs stress, meeting part way could mean a lot of hanging around waiting by the RP and DCs)
