I'm an LSA / supply TA as it fits in with having kids. However , I am unfulfilled. I have a good degree and a PGCE but there is no way I want to teach for many reasons ( I hate it.)
I got good grades at school and 1 good science Alevel and recently I have been fantasising about being a radiographer ( using X-rays/ diagnostics etc) as I feel it would be an excellent and fulfilling way to spend my working life and am interested in working for NHS. (many other reasons too)

Trouble is I'd have to do an undergraduate course which will be £££££££
I am skint but could earn well afterwards. I just don't want to be stuck and unfulfilled.

I'm nearly 40 . Wwyd?

I'd be interested to find out this too!

I'm not an expert but wouldn't you get student finance to retrain for an NHS job? Have a look at the websites for uni's that have medical schools and teach the radiography course you want to do. There will be a link to finance on thereafter that should explain what you'd be entitled to.
