To take George school uniform back, after 90 days? (As there's the 100 day guarantee)

Not sure what to do really. I have school uniform that I brought last year, as ds shot up a bit and needed new uniform before the end of the year so I wanted it to last into this year too. 90 days includes the holidays so really not that long did it last. It has fading around the knee area, which is very noticeable. Would I be unreasonable to take it back as its so close to 100 days?

Are you serious? The guarantee is 100 days! The whole point is that you have 100 days to return it

Lamp72 · 05/09/2016 21:34

Yes, it can be worn how ever many times it says

But surely they'll only swap it for the same size?

Lamp72 · 05/09/2016 21:35

They give you a refund, I thought? Either way, he hasn't grown out of them, it's the fading around the knees, so I'd be happy with the same size

Ah, I see. Go for it then! 100 days is 100 days.

Go for it! But sharing this on MN isn't the best idea - if everyone returns worn clothes then the shops will have to either increase prices or go bust. If someone returns worn clothes, then they can't resell it, so they make 100% loss on that product.

But they said 100 days so you have every right to return it.

SingaSong12 · 05/09/2016 21:50

You can - I suspect they take the risk because not that many people keep the receipt.

I suppose the argument is that you got your money's worth in those three months but if you need to do it then go for it.
