Having a low IQ isn't the same as being Stupid/a con merchant or a twat.

My DD has a low IQ as part of having a Learning Disability, she certainly knows how to behave decently and is a kind, honest, empathetic person, who doesn't think that the World owes them.

So you'd like everyone with a LD banned from FB? It's a way of escaping the isolation that LDs can bring.

Look at yourself before you want others banished from having access to what you take for granted.

The "low IQ" comments is one of the last forms of everyday anti-disability bigatry that is still bandied about, without thought.

I took 6 Autistic Kids to a local garden centre once (with other adults I add). Despite all being non verbal they all managed not to climb on the water features on display or the Christmas Trees.
We had a lovely afternoon, staff and customers were all wonderful and accommodating and we had the best mug of hot chocolate ever.

But that makes for a boring story.
