To be a sock baller?

Cannot bear the flappy sock ends hanging out. Makes me think of those flappy foreskins. I always completely ball them up like a lovely balaclava that just allows the eye to peep out

Does anyone else do this? Or am I just weird?

I'm a baller, DH is a flapper. However, I am considerate and flap his when I fold them whilst balling everyone elses. I am teaching DS1 (6) to ball.

How else do they get kept in pairs???

Mine get folded, Kondo-style. My sock drawer is the tidyest bit of my hovel house.

Balled up socks fit easily into the honeycomb sock sorters we all have. YANBU!

Aw but it's a sock rabbit if you leave some dangling.

Throw all your socks out. Buy several multipacks of socks from M&S, one colour per person. If everybody in the house has a similar size, buy only one colour and have communal socks. Never sort socks in pairs again.

I keep watching that video. I can feel it drawing me in. I'm going to have to try it. But God knows who has the time or patience to actually do it!

I am probably one of the most slovenly people in the world, and when I read the Londo book I laughed out loud at the folding socks bit. But there's an odd sense of calm around having a drawer of perfectly folded socks.

Reminds me of my ex husband complaining to me once that I rolled his socks into balls and he 'prefers sausages actually'. It was a good few months of loose,unsorted socks later that he finally said to me 'you always used to pair my socks for me...' Yeah well you pissed on your chips,didn't you mate? Sock tosser.

YANBU my MIL only tucks the end over so DH does it too and I can't stand it. Just so messy and takes up so much room. Either ball them or roll them up!

Fear not. Those little squares of sock cuteness have zero flaps.
