My car is in the drive ffs! It's the council aswell. How long do I leave it before I go out and shout at them?

Can't you just ask them to move if/when you need to use your car?!

Kangamum · 02/09/2016 15:03

I'm just in the middle of organising my daughter to go out. So it will be very soon if they don't shift. Considering my next door and opposite neighbours cars aren't there that would have maybe been better.

Just ask them to move when you need to leave. I don't see what the problem is tbh?

Discobabe · 02/09/2016 15:08

Just ask them to move when you go out. Sometimes there is no where to park that's out of everyones way. I'd assume they're delivering something big/heavy with a truck that size.

CuntTrollFreak · 02/09/2016 15:08

"Hi, I live at number xyz and I need to go out. Please could you move the van?"

IfartInYourGeneralDirection · 02/09/2016 15:08

Where else can a truck like that park though.
I'm sure it will be moved as soon as they can

Kangamum · 02/09/2016 15:11

Ah well it's gone! All ok. They were swapping the grey bins out for new ones half the size just if anyone was interested. Not that anyone was. Haha

Why shout?

Just find them and say 'Excuse me, I need to get my car out, could you move your lorry please?'

amusedbush · 02/09/2016 15:19

MN is like Opposite Land, sometimes. I've never seen such a reasonable parking thread! Grin

musicposy · 02/09/2016 15:31

So everyone only gets to dispose half their rubbish? Do you get weekly or fortnightly collections?

Kangamum · 02/09/2016 17:57

Yup exactly, half the size bins and we get fornightly collections. The council says its to promote recycling? I currently recycling everything possible and I still think it's too small. I think they have went from a 240L bin to a 120L.

I know I thought people would feel my pain but apprently I overreacted to being annoyed at being blocked in my driveway by a big feck off lorry. Fair enough. It was only there ten mins.
