this is pretty low down on my list of annoyances but radio shows that say here is 'your' weather

or now 'your' news 'your' sport etc

why do they do this! it's not my personal weather, you broadcast to millions!

Maybe it is "your" in the plural form?

It's meant in the plural form. They know they're not just broadcasting to you. Unless it's a really crap station.....

i know I just mean why don't they say 'the' news instead of 'your' it really irks me for some reason

and now here is 'your' news. grrr

I don't know about this but it annoys me when they say there's a traffic jam "if you're going that way". So if I'm not going that way then there isn't a traffic jam then?
