To think some of the GBBO bakers are a bit grim

One of them put a pound coin against their biscuit dough to measure thickness. A grotty old pound coin pressed against food! One lady blew the excess icing sugar off her Viennese whirls, no doubt blowing a nice cloud of spittle to serve up to Paul and Mary too! I'm no germaphobe but seems a bit of for something your serving up to other people.

Meh. With the amount of germs we all injest daily during normal life, I can't be bothered to worry about stuff like that. No food will be sterile, it has all been handled to some extent.

Well the biscuits were going to be baked which would obliterate any coin germs.
