Over my boyfriends house and his family are eating their dinner. His mum can't finish hers and offers the remainder of her corn on the cob around that she had already eaten some of. No one else wants it so his brothers girlfriends has it.

Am I the only one that thinks she's vile? Boyfriends mum had had her mouth on that then she takes it. Boak.

Are you going to tell us why?

RubbishMantra · 30/08/2016 20:39

There's a fetish isn't there, where someone chews the food, and feeds it to another person, like a bird feeds it's babies. Each to their own, but bleurgh !

Unless your MIL sucked her husbands dick as a first course then YABU.

Smrendell · 30/08/2016 20:43

Just a few reasons are...

When she's around boyfriends mum just fobs me off.
She always seems to try make me jealous.
I'm pretty sure she takes the piss out of me and slags me off.
She had the fucking cheek to suggest to my boyfriend I was "controlling" and he might be happier with out me!!!!!!

My exh mum got food poisioning from her tongue

honeylulu · 30/08/2016 20:44

This reminds me of the sharing bath water thread (I will probably get bollocked for TAAT )
There are worse things than coming into contact with your family member/loved ones saliva. Do none of you haters ever have a snog? A shag? Breastfeed? Live a little ... I live a downright filthy life and I'm never ill!

LoveInTokyo · 30/08/2016 20:45

I live a downright filthy life and I'm never ill!

That's probably why you're never ill...

honeylulu · 30/08/2016 20:46

Rubbishmantra that's how our ancestors fed babies before food processors. I didn't though. I have a Bamix. Best thing ever completely off topic

PortiaCastis · 30/08/2016 20:47

I do like a good shag

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 30/08/2016 20:48

I bet the atmosphere's tense when you two get together in the same room.

Willywolly · 30/08/2016 20:50

In all honesty sounds like you just have a problem.
She always seems to try make me jealous.
Works then obviously? Unless you're 15 year old girls, in that case get off MN, then I very much doubt that's the case.
I'm pretty sure she takes the piss out of me and slags me off.
Pretty sure So you don't actually know then, you are just assuming and using that assumption to dislike her.
She had the fucking cheek to suggest to my boyfriend I was "controlling" and he might be happier with out me!!!!!!
Are you though? I doubt she did it be spiteful otherwise others would have problem brought her up about it wouldn't they? He obviously didn't listen to her as he's still with you anyway.

Why don't you just talk to her like an adult? Hmm

isitseptemberyet · 30/08/2016 20:50

haha tht is gross, i wouldnt share food with my own mother let alone my mother in law! Minging lol

EmmaMacgill · 30/08/2016 20:51

Eww cooties

liz70 · 30/08/2016 20:52

"Everyone says they wont eat the toddlers left over food or from the same spoon, but they do."

Nope. I never eat anyone's leftovers, ever. I wouldn't judge anyone who does, though.

Smrendell · 30/08/2016 20:52

Sorry but it is vile. I know IANBU.

He obviously didn't listen to her as he's still with you anyway. Well it put a big strain on our relationship and he even considered ending it.

OP posts:
Soubriquet · 30/08/2016 20:54

Oh you say your being reasonable because you say it's vile?

It's not vile. Eating dog shit is vile. Taking a bath in vomit is vile.

Eating someone else's food is fine

Willywolly · 30/08/2016 20:54

Sorry but it is vile. I know IANBU

Why post I'm aibu then? Grin

Well it put a big strain on our relationship and he even considered ending it.

Must be some truth to what she said then.

Seriously YOU are the one with the problem so again, grow up.

PortiaCastis · 30/08/2016 20:59

Codswallop
Vile is eating cat poo

LucyFuckingPevensie · 30/08/2016 20:59

How does your mil fob you off when she is there ? Tbh if you are quite open about thinking that then you might look jealous.
I'm honesty not saying it to be nasty, so I hope it doesn't come across like that.

Smrendell · 30/08/2016 21:02

She just barely acknowledges me.

OP posts:
Sunshineonacloudyday · 30/08/2016 21:06

With that attitude your boyfriends mother should be breaking bread with you. Sorry you don't do that you think its gross.

LucyFuckingPevensie · 30/08/2016 21:07

That must be horrible, I can see why it would upset you. It is mils fault though isn't it, not Sils.

Donthateprocreate · 30/08/2016 21:07

You sound just like my ex "SIL". She was extremely jealous of a lot of things to do with me and would always insist everything I did was done to upset her. She was horrible about me and would constantly talk shit to her friends not knowing one of them was my best friends little sister so I always found out but played innocent when asked about it. She would always make me look like a bad guy and a lot of time MIL believed it.

In the end MIL and FIL told BIL she wasn't welcome round there anymore as all she did was stir shit and cause problems. It ended up wreaking her relationship with BIL. So even though she tried to make me the bad guy so was the one who ended up worse off. Now BIL is seeing a lovely girl who I've got on with from the start and would even call her a friend and still will be close with her if their relationship ends.

So be careful or else you might go the same way.

Sunshineonacloudyday · 30/08/2016 21:08

She could be easier to get along with I'm sorry to say this but you don't come across as a nice person.
