What were you getting done at the dentist, AGL?

PortiaCastis · 30/08/2016 19:55

Have a look at Jeremy Vines fb page

I was supposed to have a filling done but none of the three anaesthetic injections worked :(

VanillaSugar · 30/08/2016 20:04

Jeremy vine - the road rage? What? What??

PortiaCastis · 30/08/2016 20:09

Vinebikegate oooooo the language

VanillaSugar · 30/08/2016 20:10

Have you got "hot pulp"? I had that with my dodgy tooth. I was filled full of painkillers but they might as well have given me a Mars Bar. apparently hot pulp is resistant to pain killers.

AverageGayLad · 30/08/2016 20:14

What's hot pulp? :(

Disco 2000 ?

VanillaSugar · 30/08/2016 20:23

If only it was as simple as Jarvis COCKer. Hot Pulp is when the inside of the tooth is so um.... rotten and inflamed that nothing can be done with it. Hopefully the inflammation will calm down and the tooth can then be numbed properly.

PortiaCastis · 30/08/2016 20:24

Oh. Sorry.
I haven't experienced that

PortiaCastis · 30/08/2016 20:26

COCKer I mean but I haven't had to have a tooth done just a scrape

VanillaSugar · 30/08/2016 20:30

Scrape? As in....

CS??

PortiaCastis · 30/08/2016 20:31

Bettercallsaul1 · 30/08/2016 20:43

You're not having much luck with your teeth at the moment, AGL. I hope you're brushing and flossing them properly - they've got to last you a lifetime, you know!

PortiaCastis · 30/08/2016 20:45

Jess where have you gone?

AverageGayLad · 30/08/2016 20:55

I am, Better!

MyDressIsInferiorBlue · 30/08/2016 21:02

AGL if you're going to leave slowcooker on whilst out make sure its away from the socket. I had mine on about an inch in front of the socket. After a couple of hours without being touched, some water collected around the rim where the lid sits. It started to bubble and spit slightly - going into the socket. The socket started sparking. Fortunately I was home, so I moved it away. Since then I've been very careful not to have it anywhere near a socket and its fine left whilst I'm out.

I also test recipes when I'm home so I know I have the right moisture levels.

And now everyone will drag this to the gutter

AverageGayLad · 30/08/2016 21:06

I already do that, Blue!
