to choose to be inside on a hot sunny day?

I'm sitting inside in my relatively cool house, the kids are too and are finishing watching a film. Got this nagging guilt feeling we should be outside because it's such fine weather. But it's too hot! We've been out this morning briefly. I can almost hear my mum's voice saying we should be out making the most of it! AIBU?

OK I've ventured outside. It's still hot here sitting in the shade! But I am consoling myself with a triple chocolate caramel cornetto and enjoying the peace while DS eats his mini milk!

YANBU. Took DS to the park this morning, definitely too hot. I love the sun but with two little ones we are inside until it cools down a bit.

DD is now in a cool-to-cold bath and seems happier than she has done all day.

We go out first thing in the morning and the DCs are outside now. Middle of the day too too hot for us.

I took DS out to a playgroup that was outside and I've got mild sunburn and bloody sun stroke! Strangely enough, he's fine even though he's been in the sun for longer and didn't drink that much.

Indoors with my 5 month old, windows open and fan on. He's in a nappy and I'm in a nursing bra and running shorts. It's pretty darn hot in north London today!

Some of us have no choice and have to be in an office all day. I would love to go outside.

Fuck that. We're staying in. It's horrible.

Mind you, it was 33 degrees here yesterday, so today's been quite refreshing

I am recovering from foot surgery so am not allowed to walk too much or get it too hot......I have spent most of the past 4 weeks indoors......I have cabin fever bad but its just too hot today. I may venture out tomorrow!

Im on the tube. So glad I'm not going into the office tomorrow! Horrific!
