Heatwave, pregnancy and football

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and generally feeling knackered. Almost 30c here today.

Have to go to the doctors later which involves a little walk. I also have an energetic ds to entertain.

Dh has literally just messaged saying a friend has invited him to see a football match later. A team my dh doesn't support.

Aibu to ask dh to stay home and put ds to bed etc?

Not bu at all! I spent the last month of my pregnancy in a heatwave. You need to rest.

Thanks Jack.

If it was planned in advance I'd just suck it up, but it being sprung on me when I had planned a restful Eve has irked me somewhat :-)

YANBU. But I'm 30 weeks and it's very hot here too so I sympathise!

Absolutely not unreasonable to expect him to come home. At least he asked though - mine would just tell me he's going.....

I'm 39 weeks pregnant and quite frankly if my dh doesn't turn up home immediately from work to take over with dd I will be very cross!!! Yanbu.

Thanks all. I wasn't sure if I was just being a grumpy and unreasonable :-)

YANBU I'm 31 weeks and struggling in the heat. I'd feel the same as you.
