At what age does the child's wishes hold weight? I am about to have a telephone interview regarding contact. I had dealings with them when my child was between 0 and 5. My Child is now 10 and I would like her views to be taken into account if and when they decided to speak to her.

A friend recently went through family courts and the wishes of 12 and 8 yr old listen to there may have been other factors though
