To love threads about difficult neighbours

I know it's terribly sad but really love hearing about them as mine are so boring( odd but not that exciting)

In the last three properties I've lived in I've had neighbours who beat each other up. Seriously.

My new ones are really nice. I did think the husband had gone a bit mad when I saw him climbing over the downstairs neigbours' fence by climbing onto the shed, but he'd just locked himself out

That sounds interesting ! Mine are overly friendly and go to sleep very early, and recycle extensively but nothing else really!

My parents used to have a couple living 2 doors down. They were mad. They had regular loud, blazing rows. One day, the wife hit her husband on the head with an axe. True story. He didn't die.

At our previous house our next door neighbours were horrible. They blocked the shared driveway, made loads of noise and argued with everyone on the Close. Opposite our house, the people living there used to sit outside the front, getting drunk, and played loud music.

Here at this house our neighbours are quiet and pleasant. I just hope none of them move.

Boring man next door did used to be slightly more interesting and stalk me but this stopped (possibly as am 10 years older now and have had 2 kids)

Hmmm... maybe boring isn't so bad after all!

My parents had interesting neighbours, Jehovah's Witnesses who didn't have a TV. I occasionally babysat the youngest and plonked him in front of the TV. He was fascinated!

Our neighbours are typically nosy, parish council types. I feel quite self conscious in our garden as she always passes comment on whatever she can see, and has no problem announcing publicly whenever she's seen me having a cheeky fag in the garden/I've been gardening barefoot/I didn't have a bra on!!!
Also, if anything ever gets passed her she gets the rage. DFS once delivered a sofa whilst they were out (a rare occurrence) and the next time she "popped round" to passively aggressively moan about cat shit/bins or whatever the current gripe was, her eyes nigh on popped out of her nosy little head when she saw the sofa. I had to get out the delivery note to tell her exactly when it was delivered!
She was properly shocked.
Her downfall is the booze though, if I've got a bottle of something open she cannot refuse a drop. That turns into a drop more and then I send her on her merry way

True tater but it's the end of the holidays and am very bored

The reason why I love these threads is because it makes me feel like I'm not alone in HATING my neighbours

Me and DP have been incredibly unlucky with neighbours. In our old terraced house, we lived between a couple who screamed at each other daily, and a family with 3 very loud under 5 y/o DS's...

In our new semi, the house next door is rented. So far, we've had the couple who beat each other up. Police showed up and took him away on Boxing Day 2014. Then we had the weirdos who never left the house or opened the curtains. Now we have the world's most heavy-footed man who storms up and down the stairs at all times of the day and night. We also have the couple across the road who have loud parties most Thursday nights because they're off on Friday's, so it doesn't matter that everyone else has to go to work the next day.

I love reading about other people's horrendous neighbours, because it makes me feel like I'm not alone!

I actually thought one of my neighbours was dead the other day She's in a wheelchair and always seems to sit with her head slumped at the same angle. It suddenly hit me the other day that she seemed to be in exactly the same position every time I went past. I was so relieved when she moved here head!

The people on the other side of our culdesac are bastard Parkers if that counts! I haven't parked my car on my own drive for years or they block me in it

My upstairs neighbour is a pain.

She hasn't been above me that long, maybe a year but she's already on her fourth boyfriend, had her kids taken off of her, regularly ended up drunk screaming at her ex in the middle of the road, have seen her ex and a taxi driver carry her up the stairs home. She's basically a fucking state. The first time I met her she told me she had pissed herself while throwing up on the way home from the pub.

I also get asked for alcohol, fags (don't smoke) WiFi password, toilet roll, lifts, and to use my phone charger on a regular basis. Not sure why she keeps asking as I have never said yes. She isn't in that often as she stays with her mum for weeks on end but I have had to tell her to shut the fuck up when she's woken up my dc with her shagging noises.

I hope she'll be evicted soon. I haven't complained about her but the other neighbours have. She also hasn't got any flooring down so I can hear absolutely everything she does. Even putting a phone charger in the socket

we had a neighbour who hated women, he was really rude to most females in our street including myself. One Christmas another neighbour told me has was going away for the holiday, came about the 6th Jan and I thought to myself he had been gone a long time, it turned out that he had been dead in the house for weeks, if he hadn`t boasted of the holiday I would have known something was wrong.
